Permian morning

A relaxing morning in the Late Permian. Dimetrodon is sleepy under some conifer trees and doesn't pay much attention to the near Eryops preying lungfishes. In the opposite shore, Edaphosaurus is looking for soft and nutritious ferns. This calm image is so different from the numberlees agressive despiction of these animals. The true is they are just that, animals. And they also need to rest and take their time.
